Paul opened Philippians by expressing his gratitude for fellow workers. “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:3-6)
That is how I feel about you _ my fellow servants of Jesus. My friends, we should… no, we must, while participating, come away with a purer, more committed attitude _ a more consecrated, righteous, holy walk with God. Not a “what can I get out of it” attitude _ rather a “what can I give in response to the love of God” attitude.
So where is a good place to start? The best place to begin is right where you are by giving your life totally to God. When should you start? The best time to begin is now. If you’ve never taken that step _ now is as good an opportunity as you will ever have. Who knows? It may be the last opportunity you will ever have.
