     I added 4 new Elder’s Devotions today, that makes a total of 14. They can be accessed by clicking on the category ELDERS.

     Ten day count down until Cathie & I leave for the North American Christian Convention in Kansas City, Missouri. July 3-6 @ the Kansas City Convention Center. We will be at our booth (412) Tuesday through Thursday. Except when we are @ our workshop (2503-B)  – 8 to 9 AM on the 4th & 5th. When we are away from the Church Encouragement Services booth, Scott & Maria Smith (Pastor & wife from Crestview Christian Church Copperas Cove, Texas.) will be @ the booth.

     Of course I will not be adding anything to this Blog site during that week.

Devotional Focus:

Psalm 20:7 -9

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. 8 They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. 9 O LORD, save the king! Answer us when we call!

 Remember that victory comes from the Lord! Moses – Joshua – Samson – Gideon – David – Paul – Not trusting in horses, chariots, armor or ingenuity.

How do we get the Lord to give us Victory? What do we tend to trust in instead of God? How can we be most sensitive to the Lord’s leading?

Prayer:

Response to the way the Holy Spirit led our devotions tonight; (discuss thoughts first before praying)
